Art Collection 20th-Century Art Ⅳ : Landscapes of Kagawa

2026/9/1-12/13
Permanent exhibition room 2

Art Collection

"20th-Century Art" is a series that showcases the appeal of the Kagawa Prefectural Museum’s art collection through six themed exhibitions each year. For this fourth installment of the fiscal year, we present paintings and prints created in the 20th century that depict landscapes within Kagawa Prefecture.
The works on display cover locations spanning the prefecture from east to west and feature a diverse range of artistic media. We invite you to enjoy these varied landscape paintings created by artists who viewed Kagawa either as a destination to visit or as their own hometown.
