The main and East buildings of the former Kagawa Prefectural Government Office (hereinafter the Prefectural Government Office) are a nationally important cultural property completed in 1958 and designed by architect Kenzo Tange (1913-2005). The furniture used within was designed by designer Isamu Kenmochi (1912-1971). Visitors can see the furniture and other objects used in Prefectural Government Office to explore Kagawa's architecture and artfully designed furniture.
